Job Overview:

Geoliz Waterproofers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and proactive Site Supervisor to oversee waterproofing activities at our project sites. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating with internal teams, managing on-site operations, and ensuring the timely execution of projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The supervisor will be responsible for workforce management, including arranging and supervising laborers, to meet project requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Supervision:
    • Oversee daily waterproofing activities at the site and ensure smooth operations in alignment with project goals and timelines.
  2. Labor Management:
    • Arrange and manage laborers as required at the site, ensuring adequate manpower is always available for project execution. Foster discipline and teamwork among the workforce.
  3. Progress Monitoring:
    • Ensure each stage of the project progresses on time and within budget, reporting regularly to clients or senior managers on the status and any potential issues.
  4. Stock and Safety Management:
    • Verify and manage stock at the site, ensuring compliance with company policies. Maintain safety standards to prevent accidents and damage to materials or equipment.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Handle daily operations, including tracking expenses, maintaining site records, and submitting required reports and information to the company.
  6. Client Interaction:
    • Act as a point of contact between the company and clients, ensuring client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  7. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Enforce company policies and maintain records, including logs for labor attendance, stock movement, and work progress, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering or a related field. Candidates with prior experience in waterproofing may be considered even if they do not meet the formal educational qualifications.
  • Experience: 3+ years of site management experience, preferably in waterproofing or construction.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Ability to arrange, manage, and coordinate labor efficiently.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Proficient in maintaining records and documentation.
    • Strong understanding of construction safety practices.

Additional Details:

You are required to use your own vehicle for site purposes, and the compensation paid to you includes general vehicle expenses. However, petrol costs will be reimbursed within a defined ceiling, provided invoices or credit card slips are retained along with a logbook detailing all business kilometers traveled.
